AGENDA

Discussing the Threat of Human Trafficking with Special Emphasis on the Trafficking of Minors

Human trafficking remains one of the gravest violations of human rights in the modern world. It is a multifaceted crime that exploits individuals through coercion, deceit, and force, often for purposes such as forced labor, sexual exploitation, and involuntary servitude. This illicit trade affects millions globally, with an estimated 24.9 million people trapped in forced labor and sexual exploitation at any given time. Alarmingly, a significant portion of these victims are minors, who represent one of the most vulnerable groups within this heinous practice.
